Read to know when a game could be dumped:
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after. Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it doesn't mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time. A diverse group of fun-loving Ninjas populate the vibrant yet peaceful place known as Ninjatown. However, after the eruption of a nearby volcano, Ninjatown is attacked by hordes of sinister enemies lead by Mr. Demon, who, for reasons unknown, is bent on destruction. It is now time to use each of the Ninjas’ unique skills and powers – including the Mighty Wind of Ninja Dropping and Stealth Hugs – to fight off the evil and secure Ninjatown, one district at a time. The game is played from the top down, where the player uses the stylus to strategically place Ninjas to defend each area.

The game is played from the top down, with the player using the stylus to place buildings and issue commands to ninjas on the battlefield. Build support buildings to bolster your Ninja skills and help them fight off the enemy on over 35 maps across 9 districts of Ninjatown to discover. A demo is on Wii now.

The poor mans Animal Crossing returns! Who cares?

Take the Kingdom with you! MySims Kingdom on Nintendo DS adds a new chapter to the saga, challenging you to help the King thwart the plans of evil in a far flung corner of the Kingdom. Many new activities and mini-games are included to help you persuade the King that your island is the ultimate royal destination.

EA haven't really been bothered to talk this one up that much so don't expect that much of a improvement on the first.

With a name like that how can this game fail! Oh by having Destineer publish it.

Zombie BBQ is a shooter, in which you have to move forward by shooting down every living (or dead) creature in your path! Use the great arsenal of weapons at your disposal to do away with the savage hordes of zombies. Shoot, blast, massacre, bombard, and burn your enemies to the bone with a simple touch of your stylus on the console screen. Can you save fairy tale land, or will you let its creatures live unhappily ever after?

Reviews say its a mediocre game, I hope that they are wrong but they were right about Teenage Zombies werent they? Also the trailer makes the game look a bit meh too.

Ok what gives? The console versions look very tasty, even the Wii one and yet this looks like shit! So it looks like Activision are gonna release a Bond game that is worse than GoldenEye: Rogue Agent. Well done you dumb fucks, don't expect it to do as well.

They really should have got n-Space to do the DS version, and with the Call of Duty engine at least. I expected more from Vicarious Visions but then I guess they have lots of other games to concentrate on.

The Wii game is looking good too.

Monster Lab is set in the eerie world of Uncanny Valley where the evil Baron Mharti rules with a cruel hand. The player takes on the role of an apprentice scientist who must perform a vast array of intricate experiments to create their very own monster from over 100 million possible monster part variations on offer.

Taking control of your monster, the player can then explore the land; searching for ingredients to make more monster parts, hunting out other monsters to defeat in combat, uncovering quests to embark upon or simply competing in the numerous mini-games available.

Looks pretty nice actually, very varied, the battles look like a 3D beat em up and then there's monster creating and all that. The Wii game also looks good. There is only video as all the screenshots published are of shit quality and don't really show what the game is.

Huh so its keeping the Japanese name? Its so nice to see this game get localise, never thought we'd see it but then the DS seems to have these nice suprises for us. For those who don't know Docomodake is actually a mascot for a Japanese mobile company and if you've been to Japan you would have surely seen the mushroom fella in some form.

Set on the day of the annual festival held in the Docomodake Forest, the Docomodake family is nowhere to be seen! Gamers play as Papa Docomodake and guide him through various obstacles and challenges in order to find his family and get them to the festival on time. Papa Docomodake has a trick or two to help him on his quest. With a tap of the stylus he can release 'Minis' that aid him when the going gets a little tough. Remember, Minis make the impossible possible!

This actually reminds me of this PD game I had for the Amiga and like that game I had some fun with this, and I will be interested in playing the English version when released. For those who wanna know the US date, well March 2009 sadly for you guys.

Sorry about the lack of write ups this week, it was hard trying to find time and then the actual inclination to actually finish it which is also why there is no Japan titles written up or Wii titles. Thinking of stopping this anyway but I'm sure someone will take over.

Quantum of Solace looks hideous. Vicarious Visions has ruined every DS game they've gotten their hands on thus far, but this is bad, even for them.

Looks like a fun week for trying out games, but nothing here that's too compelling. Honestly, I'm dying to try Zombie BBQ. Just looks like total camp!

But looks like they added some cool features to the new MySims. Tried the demo of Ninjatown and it's a cool little Tower Defense game, but I'll have to be in the mood for that one. And 007...well, it's played book-style from what I understand, so I gotta see what that's all about.

IGN still lists c.o.r.e as being released on October 31, even after they updated the release list. If you no longer plan on doing NDS games releases, I thank you for starting it and for already doing so much! Congrats on your promotion (again [IMG]) and w/e you do, know you'll hvae the support of many tempers.

most of the imitation threads that pop up occasionally don't match your level of quality :/
but if you don't have time, then we'll just have to learn to deal with it. thanks for the effort you've given us.

Have to disagree there.. aside from their movie based games, Vicarious Visions is doing a wonderful job with the DS Tony Hawk and Guitar Hero games.

The graphics are looking bad indeed.. but I'm curious to see why they decided to go Ninja Gaiden style for the controls, might not be as bad as it looks.

And I'm getting Little Red Riding Hood Zombie BBQ just for the name, I can't resist XD

Weeks with few games are being very welcome to me, already have a big load of stuff to play, and there are a bunch of cool games coming for the DS, Wii and PC in November that will keep me occupied! Hope next week is even worse [IMG]

Thanks for the good job Hadrian! [IMG]

as much as i want to agree with you, i cant.

guitar hero's setlist is way too short, and there's too many simple songs. there's only a small handful of truly challenging songs (compared to GH3, where you have a large array of simple, challenging, difficult, and "wtfthissongisstupid")
it's also missing out on too many features it should have: Replay (like in EBA), speed adjustments in practice mode, hyperspeed, and some kind of wifi capability (even if its just a top-score tracker)
