Oh sorry last question - in the Forwarder is there a way to change the icon of a DSi-Enhanced game? Or convert it to a DSi one instead of DSi-Enhanced? I don't have a list of all the DSi-Enhanced banners unfortunately
on mac os high sierra Real lost on the terminal answer you provided. i get the .nds files compared to .cia i saw in the faq you talked about opening the jar in the terminal or something. no clue on how to do that.. any leads would be great
dude hes doing exactly what the OP said to do, which is use the CMD command. It isnt working for me either.Dude, just get the normal Java and open the .jar file from the OP, simple as that, there's absolutely no reason to bother with command line or anything dumb like that, simply follow the instructions as stated in OP.
I'm trying to find WHERE in the OP it says ANYTHING about CMD but can't find a thing, so really confused here. Install Java, click on the .jar file, GUI opens up and you creat the forwarders, end of story, no CMD involved in this AT ALL unless you are too dumb to get the .jar file to open in which case you make a .bat file (which isn't CMD honestly). CMD was only needed WAY back in 2016 for this, since then you don't do anything involving CMD to make the forwarders since Robz made the GUI .jar file that does everything for you!dude hes doing exactly what the OP said to do, which is use the CMD command. bruh why are you such an asshole??? it really isnt this easy anymore because the program is so old. You can no longer just install the latest version of java and run the Jar. JavaFX is missing, stop being so ignorant lol.I'm trying to find WHERE in the OP it says ANYTHING about CMD but can't find a thing, so really confused here. PS: Also confused about why you'd quote a message from more than 5 pages back just to say nothing of importance![]()
Don't get OpenJDK, just the basic runtime one from Oracle, not the Dev Kit, simple as that. Try deleting "nds-bootstrap.ini" at "sd:/_nds/".I just created two forwarders for phantom hourglass and spirit tracks. Both show up jist fine in the 3ds home menu but when I try to load them Suoer Mario 64 ds loads for some reason. Any ideas how to fix this @Robz8
Ok so I did that and tried them and only got a white bottom screen and a black top screen. I then tried one of my working forwarders Super Princess Peach which worked fine now my two Zelda forwarders are loading Super Princess Peach lol.Try deleting "nds-bootstrap.ini" at "sd:/_nds/".
If that doesn't fix it, re-download and re-extract the forwarder pack.
Try shortening the ROM filenames of the non-working forwarders.Ok so I did that and tried them and only got a white bottom screen and a black top screen. Ok shortend names down to ph for phantom hourglass and st for Spirit Tracks I then made new forwarders and installed them and tried to load them and got Princess Peach againTry shortening the ROM filenames of the non-working forwarders.

Hmm, so for some reason, the ROM path isn't being written to "nds-bootstrap.ini".Ok shortend names down to ph for phantom hourglass and st for Spirit Tracks I then made new forwarders and installed them and tried to load them and got Princess Peach again![]()
It is Sd/roms/ndsHmm, so for some reason, the ROM path isn't being written to "nds-bootstrap.ini".
What's the full path of the ROM on the SD card?
So "Sd/" isn't added to the ROM path itself in Forwarder3-DS, right? It is Sd/roms/nds
My roms are in the nds folder
.
Yep seems to be the case and I'm also lost as all other forwarders work perfectly its only the two Zelda games doing this bizarrely. Its wierd they show fine in the home menu alsoSo "Sd/" isn't added to the ROM path itself in Forwarder3-DS, right?
I'm lost on why this isn't working.
Care to explain that again? That made no sense as to what you want.hey could you send the 3ds sd card so forwarders can run? i am watching the sthetix video and it says it is needed, when i try without it it just flashes the screen and does not work
on the tutorial video he shows an extra winrar file to download in the site, but it does not show up to me(the file), and the name of the file is 3DS SD Card. I was just just asking if you could send me the link or something like thatCare to explain that again? That made no sense as to what you want.
Take a look at the very first page in the OP. They have everything needed for getting the forwarders set up and running.on the tutorial video he shows an extra winrar file to download in the site, but it does not show up to me(the file), and the name of the file is 3DS SD Card.
