Homebrew [NDS] Forwarder CIAs for your HOME Menu

at this point it feels like it'd be more efficent for some one to just show me what to do or something.
I don't know why it isn't working.

So, how did you get it to work?

1) Create a folder on the root of you´re sd card for the .nds games (not forwaders), Like SD: Dsroom: FFIII.nds
2) Launch Forwader 3-Ds on you´re PC, keep on keep NDS files but, turn off Automatically set ROM path.
3) In the app, select the icon forwader of the game, and write the new Game Path you´re self as in the picture above.
4) Enjoy.
Psdt: in FBI select install and delete CIA, you don´t need to keep it.

Why do you have 3 archives of the game in the Nintendo Ds Roms folder... You just must have ONE .nds file, the one that u used to create the forwader with the app...
If you look my pictures, in the folder of my roms, i only have one .nds file for each game... all of those are 128mb size... of course exist some games with more or less size, but that doesn´t matter.
Also change the name of the file for Fire emblem hols... cause Fire_emblem_shin_monico_ that low lines may be a problem, use a name with no characters as : , . _ - & etc... just a normal name.

Hello, chaps! I had this exact same issue and I fixed it by creating a "NDS ROMS" file on my SD card and put a "saves" file in there and all my .nds files in there. You have to keep those .nds files in your SD card at all times if you want the forwarded ones to work. And, when using the forwarder program, use set automatic rom path and update templates at startup. Also when viewing the SD card .nds files, drag them from the file explorer to the forwarder. Then press the floppy drive button, and voila, you have your game. I'm playing Pokemon Black right now with this method.

Do you really need to keep the .nds files on your SD card? (the unforwarded ones like the ones you dump from gm9)

Did you see that when you make a forwader, you get two files right? one is .cia, and other .nds, each one has like 1.30 mb size.
As you said, keep the cia in cia folder, and you don´t need the other one .nds created by the forwader.
Everything is fine, but, in Nintendo Ds room folder, you must put the .nds game (is like 128mb size), and not the .nds forwader that u get doing the app process.
As in the picture above, you don´t need the file selected (in blue), you just need the cia file... don´t even touch the other one cause u don´t need it for nothing.
Also don´t forget to first delete the old forwader before install the new one that u are making.

Odd I did this but still got that screen. Do you have discord or some other screen sharing software I could use? Cause at this point I feel like I would just need some one to show me what to do. Sorry if I’ve been a bother. This has just gotten frustrating at this point.

Did you delete the forwader before installing the new one again, right? I mean, in you´re 3ds

Yes, I deleted both the cia and the forwarder ( The dsi Ware in the system settings.

The SD card forwarder template has been updated to support nds-bootstrap v0.17.0.
Remake your forwarders for them to work with that nds-bootstrap version.

nds-bootstrap v0.17.0 breaks forwarders because it adds the twilightmenu++ splash. It's been confirmed in nintendo homebrew discord.

Hello! This is a great tool.

I use it to make forwarder CIA's for the games placed in my R4i SDHC RTS flashcart. Everything works like a charm. But I have a problem and I'll be very grateful if you can help me.

I recently updated the tool, and I've realized that now the CIA's are way larger in size than before. This happens because now you don't have to use DAT files and place them in a folder in the SD card in the flashcart.

This is not good: now I cannot install as many forwarder CIAs as before, because I reach TWLNAND capacity limit pretty fast.

I was wondering if anyone could post a link to the last version of the tool that was making those DAT files. Or if anyone could tell me if I'm doing something wrong and if there is an easy fix for this issue.
