Isn't there something like uncart for DS games? I know that there is a peace of code in uncart to dump twl cardridges, but it is unfinished / unused.

Could anyone test it with this dumper? It is more complicated and is only usable on a DS (lite), but maybe that works.

Set this up above and get the card to boot into YSMenu by default, then overwrite with the files by Bobesh8.

Now for some questions... any idea how to get cheats to enable?
Since we are just rewriting the YSMenu.ini, I was looking at some flags in the ini file that might enable cheats by default.
But of course... no luck so far. Here's a pastebin with a list of flags I assume. http://pastebin.com/vJhX2f8A
Anyone have more experience with autobooting a game in YSMenu with cheats?

How does the forwarder work?
It works by loading a .NDS/.DAT file in the flashcard which erases/creates a new YSMenu.ini file on the root and sets the Auto-Boot ROM path, then launches YSMenu.nds also on the root, and the game auto-boots, unless if it asks to create a .sav file, press A.

The forwarders are DSiWare, and they can read Slot-1. They are based off of Apache Thunder's R4i Gold Launcher.

Just put ; at the beginning of AUTO_BOOT= then launch the flashcard. Enable cheats like you normally would.

Thanks Bobesh8, but this only allows me to load cheats after accessing the YSMenu directly.
The cheats I enable do not carry over after closing the R4 and loading the game again, this time from the CIA.

So, is there anyway to select cheats from YSMenu, then automatically apply them when loading the game from the CIA?

So it's the standard game cart launching code then? I might try to make one for a different device.
