is chrono trigger working? i tried different patches, different roms and different versions of the bootstrap but i can't ever get past the time warp
you haveto use a Clean rom and the original AP Patch (the time warp never ending was it's Anti Piracy measure,)
sure but did you actually manage to do that? i see a lot of people claiming it works but pretty airy without an actual confirmation of going through the portal sucessfuly, i didn't manage.
i did (i used a clean US Rom as a source, what region rom are you using?)
i tried both usa and jap, even tried injecting the cheats into the rom with dsatm
If a game has thumb card reads, which aren't patched yet, an error screen will show, if you have the following set as your loading screen:
Regular: "Error!" text with red X.
Pong: Graphics turn from black to red.
Tic-Tac-Toe: Cursor turns from green to red.
DS Download Play demo support is fixed!
This does not mean that actual DLP support is fixed for SDK1-4 games.
It just means that the DLP demo SRL/NDS files are working again.
Bug fixes (DSi users)
Fixed support for Need for Speed: Underground 2.
Sound for Puyo Pop Fever (and maybe some other earlier games) is fixed!
Sound should now be working properly, if donor ROM is turned off.
Robz8, Hello. Wanted to ask you, why do we have only 28mb of RAM at the moment? Can we have at least 64mb in the future, so 128mb roms could run almost without lags and long loadings, or there are some 3DS hardware limitations?
Tried to search this information by myself but could find only information about RAM increase from 4,8 to 28mb.
There's limitations, unknown if it's by hardware or the TWL_FIRM.
We can have up to 32MB, because panda/dev DSi units have 32MB of RAM.
Also, the first 4MB are used by the game, so we can only store ROMs up to 28MB or below, into RAM.
So I recall there being a post on here quite a while ago (some time last year, iirc) saying that Bowser's Inside Story was working and that it'd be in a later commit. Anyone know what happened, and when/if it'll be working?
BiS now works, but not past the save screen, due to AP measures, and an AP patch doesn't fix it.
Ah, gotcha. I thought by working it meant playable, sorry for the confusion!
If it not works, At least this game will be released for 3ds next year
Ok, I just tried Game Center CX 2 - in japanese it's works good if you turn off the voices. With translation its goes black scren after join the game room. I bet it's because of the "trim". It's possible to aply the patch without trim the rom?
Using HxD, insert 0x100000 bytes to the end of the ROM file.
