ROM Hack NDS Backup Tool Not recognizing Game

I'm trying to back up my Pokemon games HG and Diamond. I have tryed v0.31, 0.31f, v0.4. I have tryed atleast 3 diffrent downloads! I have a M3i Zero and a DSi XL. I also have tryed DLDI on v0.4. I have tryed patching it with defalt (no device), M3 Adapter Compact Flash, and M3 Adapter SD Card.

Im starting to think its the new DSi version. any way HELP?! Thanks!

Are you trying to backup the save or the ROM?

If it's the save you're after then this is the only tool that will work with HG/SS.

Tell us EVERY SINGLE THING YOU ARE DOING and EXACTLY how and when it fails.

Step 0: Download file to desktop
Step 1: Unzip file to desktop
Step 2: Copy & Paste files to ROOT (i have also tryed launch)
Step 3: Change environment to appropret IP, Port, Pass and name
Step 4: Take MicroSD card out of USB SD card reader (using a SD card converter)
Step 5: Put MicroSD card into M3i Zero Card with the I/O threads facing the front of the M3i card.
Step 6: Put M3i Zero card into DSi XL with the XL's screens facing me and the back of the M3i Card facing me.
Step 7: Turn on power
Step 9: go tor ROOT and select gamesave manager.NDS
Step 10: Allow boot up
Step 11: Press B (it says Flash card in all except speical before and after pressing B)
Step 12: Insert HG or Diamond (After inserting card the thing still says flash)
Step 13: Press A (nothing changes all still say flash, no no menu, no transfer bar etc.)

O yea im using Sakura v1.49 & Core_F v1,6,1

DSi/XL don't let you cart swap (with the current ROM backups tools). No way to get around it until new tools are made.

There is one new one that can back up the HG/SS save, but not the ROM.

EDIT: Tough I don't think this uses the newer cart swap method that works on a DSi/XL... but if it does work, please tell us.

I'm trying to back up the .sav file. And thats the program im trying to use! So, i guess it does not work... Thanks guys, guess i'll have to barrow my friends DS Lite. Is M3i Zero revers compatibale with other DS's?

Any cart that works on a DSi/XL will work on a DS/Lite.
