Hacking NDS 9.0. Want Sky3DS. Sell, or Upgrade?

Hi all,

Brought a new NDS on v9.0 a while ago. Have been meaning to buy a Sky3ds for it, since Gateway seems like more effort, but it seems like pre 9.2 are pretty rare these days.

Is it better to sell and buy a new one, and maybe turn a little bit of coin, rather than just upgrade?

Just use a CFW and get a bigger sd card to load your backups then you don't need a sky3DS.

You can install CFW with some shenanigans without even Cubic Ninja. Sky doesn't work with GBA and eShop games, can't launch new games, and overall, CFW is great. Installing CFW is an one-time effort, but you won't regret later that you didn't update your console.

as for an answer
you dont need a flashcard for 3ds roms you can use a free custom firmware (cfw) instead

At this point save your money and stick to cfw. Sky3ds has recently been semi blocked and there may be a v3 cart in the making and GW is great but not necessarily

If you don't have one get a ds flash cart and look into auto boot cfw

you can use gw, but if you don't want it, it's totally okay. use cfw.

you can avoid needing sky, but if you want it, that's totally not okay. use cfw.
