I had no problem personally with the gba-slot linker, and it offers other benefits like being able to use your NDS as a gamepad or mouse (no setup or configuration needed - no having to run server apps etc).
The only disadvantage for me was the fact that it drained my DS' battery.

Nice The slot 2 writer was one of the reason my Ncard was out of use

Anyway It would be interesting to see if the new packs will come with this writer insted of the slot 2 one

They are still working, they are working for some interesting features for us.Â

Mind sharing on what some of those features may be? And when a new firmware may be coming out?

Anyways, thanks for sharing this. This is really freakin' awesome. I hope the speeds are going to be at least on par with the G6 Real. Taking about two hours to backup a 2GB cart, is just unacceptable. Hopefully with this new USB card reader, it will only take a few minutes.

Hope they release it soon.

@Glacius0: Yes, yes, yes, no idea.

Hopefully this is better than their last USB-reader!

I hope dealextreme stocks this when it's released, otherwise it may be a little tricky for westerners like me to get hold of. Although I can already think of one unscrupulous site which should have it soon...

You do realize that almost all the online flashcart dealers ship to the US?...

Yeah, but AFAIK DSGBA doesn't have any official dealers in the western world. Think about it, how long did it take for the N-card to make a sizeable appearance on gbatemp? Virtually everyone ignored their first incarnation, the ultraflashpass 1G/4G. It was only when the bigger clone dealers came out that these carts became widely available.

It seems a little weird that they're bringing this out now. But it's totally awesome. I thought they'd given up on working on the N-Card.... But I guess N-Cards would still be pretty popular in China - and there's a hell of a people there.

I'll be picking one up as long as it's not too expensive.

It'll be interesting to see what it can do. I just want to know how fast it'll be and if it can back up originals. Not sure what other features it could possibly have actually.

Also, I'm curious as to why they'd release this now when the next gen of flash carts (Cyclo DS Evo and AceKard RPG) are already coming out. Does this mean a new N-Card is on its way?
