I have no idea why this sport is so popular down south here...I just think it's a waste of gas.

So what do people who like NASCAR watch it for? See their favorite driver crash on the tracks and die? cars going 200+ mph? Regional thing (represent yo hooood)? I don't see a single thing that's so fun about nascar...

I'll guess and say that 40% of the money in the south comes from NASCAR somehow.
