Ok, judging by the disastrous previous post, i need to repeat some old rules.

back to topic:
i heard this games up to quite recent of the storyline! it should be quite interesting

From what I've heard and seen, the story in this game seems to stop around the time asuma dies and Naruto uses the Fuuton Rasengan. I find Shinobi Retsuden 2 enjoyable. Shinobi Retsuden 3 looks like a huge improvement.

I forgot to mention the taild beasts that you are able to fight. Some of them I haven't seen before. Character selection seems massive compared to the first one.

Is this game as good or better than DBZ supersonic warriors? In terms of combos and extreme-ness (yay for noob word!)

is this game a way much better than part 2??? bec. i played shinobi retsuden 2, moves are horrible and only 1 super moves available for each character and you will just hit one button to do that... i want bleach dark souls or ultimate mortal kombat gameplay!!!

the quest mode was annoying im glad that they removed and replace it by the tailed beast battle

Judging by some ppl who got the game (bought it)- the ways to unlock characters are

1. beat story mode on normal and hard. Or maybe just hard to cover up Normal.

2. beat the tailed beasts on their highest difficulty?

No this is how you unlock characters.
1.Beat story mode on normal and hard mode.
2. Survive 15 battles for the hokages
3. Survive 30 battes for future kyuubi naruto who they say has one tail now.
Also not all characters have two specials just too be clear. I know some of the ones that have it r Naruto(Young and Old) Kakashi(They merged the young and old one) Gai(They merged the young and old one) Sasuke(Older)

Oh yeah thats right. Can't really remember. Thanks....

but what about the tailed beasts battles? Don't tell me simply beating survival mode 15 matches (normal or hard?) will unlock the Hokages.

yes this game is much better than retsuden 2 here are the list of changes:
Quest mode changed to the awesome TAIL BEAST MODE
42 Characters
Some Characters have 2 finisher jutsu
the graphics are better
story hve been improved(according to my opinion)
