Name the PC game

Here's what I remember from the game.

Some game features:
* Manga/Anime faces
* Top-down Real-time strategy
* You take control over several mecha-robots
* The game was very colourful.
* Probably ran at 320x240 or something liek that. I'm not sure if it was win95 or dos game
* One of the robots had flame thrower
* You didn't build anything. You only went around the maps and kicked other robot asses.
* The game was released sometime in the 90s

If it were a FPS I'd say Shogo, but what you're going on about sounds much like Mech Warrior 1, if not, it's the original Battletech but I don't remember that feeling all anime.
