Nacon has launched a new headset officially licensed for PS5, the RIG 900 MAX HS. Highlighted features of the accessory are as follows:
  • Universal gaming headset officially licensed for PlayStation® and compatible with PC via USB-A wireless adapter.
  • Dual-mode wireless offers 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
  • Durable and flexible steel headband
  • SNAP-FIT sizing and dual-material noise-isolating earcups for all-day comfort.
  • Up to 60-hour Bluetooth battery life.
  • Up to 50-hour 2.4GHz battery life.
  • Base station provides seamless charging.
  • 900 MAX Navigator app available for advanced customisation.
  • Flip-to-mute mic for online and solo gaming sessions
It appears to be a rebranded version of the 900 MAX HX which was launched a few months ago and was designed for Xbox.

I spent some time with the new 900 MAX HS and found it to be very comfortable and surprisingly lightweight. I will share more detailed thoughts in my upcoming review, so keep an eye out for it! The 900 MAX HS is available on nacongaming.com and at selected retailers for the recommended price of 249.90€ / 249.90$.

My headphones die in like 8 hours. How is this thing doing 2.5 fucking days?
Big headphones leave room for big batteries I guess. Pretty neat though, especially with a charging dock. I use a Steelseries headset myself that has swappable batteries that charge in the dock. On those when the battery runs out, you just swap it out with a fresh fully charged one. Another solid approach for basically unlimited battery life.

One of my headsets is the Astro A40 that I bought in 2011. It just works.
I bought my gf the A50s a couple years ago and the last couple times she used it, it started emitting deafening shrieks at max volume for no reason so it's been collecting dust. Not sure if I wanna attempt fixing it or not

My headphones last 40h with noise cancelling, 60h and they're not this expensive. In comparison, my earbuds barely last 6h.

Don't buy Nacon, its the worst brand there is.
They did make their own PS5 controller which is surprising as I didn't know third party PS5 controllers existed, but it requires a USB dongle.

Anyway, the controller isn't worth it, just use a DualSense.

Their controllers also get stick drift fast and then they deny replacements/repairs within the warranty period...
