LOL look at a N64 controller.. how many buttons do you see? Now at the DS.. How many buttons there? And finally look at the hardware capabilities of each system. Does it LOOK possible to you?

To put the answer in clearer words, no, it can't. The PSP still has trouble doing it, and it's a lot more powerful than the ds. As of now, and most likely forever until Nintendo releases a new handheld, it's impossible to emulate the N64 on the DS.

well theres a joy stick, 7 buttons, and a directional pad on a n64 control

and a directional pad, 6 buttons, and a styleus which could substiute for a joy stick

    so i think its possible

    I know of one!

Turn off your pop-up blocker completely so you can view the site, and I mean COMPLETELY, it doesn't like them, I don't know why. O.o But then go to this site and it will give yo a link, close some of the pop-ups because they are useless.

The buttons don't matter. What matters is that the DS simply is not powerful enough to emulate the N64.

    N64 - A B L R Z Cu Cd Cl Cr (I count 9)

    DS - A B X Y L R (I count 6)

Let's see... how can I play a game while missing 3 buttons... pray?

The closest your going to get to N64 emulation is Super Mario 64 DS. Deal and Live with it.

More like maybe 20% or so maybe Plus the crashes seems more realistic.

Yeah, you're probably right, and I honestly don't really know much about what actually goes into Developing an Emulator.
