    Wow, the N5 is surpassing the R4. Too bad it could brick your DS...

    Well, I don't own a N5 but a friend of the school have it and I tested it. I brought my DS on July 2008 and the N5 doesn't bricked the DS.

    No the N5 doesn't brick your ds... I've had mine for at least a year and my ds is fine. There was a lot of speculation over these cards but my theory was that eather they shipped a falty batch or the situation was over exagerated. Alot of the time if one bad thing happens (or even gets made up) and gets repeatedly viewed alot of the comments are from people who don't own the card but have read about it. At the end of the day other cards like R4 and DSTT may well have also bricked a ds but because they're reputable and not a clone the negative comments are put to a minimum.
