Hacking N3DSXL 11.1 and 2DS with CFW

I have both systems an N3DSXL on 11.1 and also a 2DS running CFW already. Can I use the DSIWare to downgrade my N3DS to a firmware I can hack?

This exploit requires you to System Transfer from a CFW 3DS to a stock 3DS as part of the steps. System Transfers will work in the following directions only:
+ New 3DS -> New 3DS
+ Old 3DS or 2DS -> Old 3DS or 2DS
+ Old 3DS or 2DS -> New 3DS

So, you won't be able to transfer back.

He needs to transfer from 2DS -> N3DSXL. So, actually, yes.

If he wanted the NNID(s) from the 2DS back on the 2DS, he'd have to call Nintendo, but presumably he doesn't and he can definitely do the downgrade.
