Hacking N3DS XL on OFW 9.0 question

Is there any advantages to being on OFW v9.2 vs OFW v9.0 when using custom firmware?

Just wondering whether I should upgrade this untouched unit to 10.3 and then downgrade to 9.2 before installing CFW?

I believe one of the CFW entry points prefers (perhaps even requires, I'm not certain) 9.2 over 9.0, although I'm not sure which CFW or which entry point.
You can, in all likelihood, stay at 9.0 though. I'm on 9.0 and I experience no problems and as far as I know, I'm not missing anything (especially with the new 10.3 support).

I'd say stick with 9.0, saves you a lot of trouble!
