DAT0 and CMD points are the same but length of wires is too long if I take a look behind your motherboard :

The GND length is incredible !!! oO'
If your reduce the wires I think you will get the detection OK.
this is an older picture, i've shortend them all after this picture, in the new picture the CMD and DAT0 are like 3.5cm long and ground is like 5/6cm

Where have you solder GND wire ?

If you have solder it near power socket, the issue you encountred comes from there.

i've shortend my wires even more it's really extreme now, i have ground at the bottom left side here are pictures:

i've removed the tape at cmd and dat0 and those are fine too but i diden't take a new picture, so but the ground is here:gnd.jpg

i wont shorten anymore, i'll wait for the adafruit + my new sd reader, and then i'll see if that works and if the adafruit + sd reader wont change anything then i'll redo every single wire in my n3ds but atm the 3ds works fine and i can play games so i'll wait for the stuff
thanks for the help though, the old picture that you said that my wires are incredible long, it used to work then :S

My modder said CLK has been ripped and the path has been bridged. Using Transcend RDP8. Using GND like the recommended one in this forum.

is that a question? do you have a problem? is ther something you want? i don't get anything from your post :s
Yeah and he never posts pictures of the board literally my second post in this thread described his problem.

Have him fix it, the person either has shaky hands and messed up or has no idea what they are doing.

if clk is ripped, you can try using the altern clk on the frontside of the board, and if he did it he should fix it

If CLK is torn, the motherboard is out of order.

Ask him to send us a picture of the location of the bridge he makes.

If with bridge he has got a BSOD at start instead of previous display issue (black screens), the motherboard is dead.

i have the same reader and i have lots of trouble with it, we can be pretty sure it's the reader, it works but it takes hours of connecting and disconnecting to make it work, but you should be able to boot blue screen with it, connect the franken sd to n3ds and put the franken in the reader without plugging it in the pc then boot up and you should get bootrom error code

I could be the reader, but it's in recommended list right?

Here's the bridge 62328.jpg
It's not from my console, but he made it exactly the same like this photo. This photo is his friend's. His camera can't take the photo clearly.

This SD reader has got an USB cable which lengthens even the total wired length...

If the wires are too long, the signal can't be detected by computer.

NB: Maybe this reader is only compatible with one of the two NAND models available on New 3DS XL (Samsung or Toshiba) but not both.
Maybe it is not compatible with eMMC II memory type.

it's compatible with the n3ds xl samsung chip but it's not in the 100% confirmed , it's confirmed by some people on the forum that's why it's in the list.
Are yours Samsung too? Maybe the some people who confirmed it have Toshiba ones.
