No. Install Browserhax then open homebrew launcher and install OOTHAX save (remember to back up you OOT save file before installing OOTHAX).

I don't know what you mean. If you mean for Set up BrowserHax, menuHax, OOTHax,...then sure it is can be useful.

Then you have to go back to the tutorial I linked and tried to follow the steps I listed.

Dude. If you got it for cheap. You may consider holding on to it until return deadline. Why? Smealum hinted of a way to downgrade <10.2 N3DS, called SNSHAX.

Update: what kind of screen is the Hyrule N3DSXL? IPS or TN? Anyone has info on what serial likely has IPS panel outside of the exploitable (<9.3) batches. Gonna buy 2 to upgrade for my nephews from O3DSXL. Since downgrading is possible, we will get 9.3+ units and patiently wait for the public release of downgrade method.

I don't know about the QEH1033 but I just wanted to say that I bought a YEM1015 (Black) because I thought it would be on 9.0 but got 9.6 instead so

It was probably updated before you bought it. Check if the Tomodachi Life demo is on it. If it's not, it was updated then formatted.
