you are thinking of UHS-3/2 which is marked as UHS-3 and below has a 2 the pro is UHS-3/1 thus does not carry the extra pins. But UHS-3 uses more pins than a standard SD card. So unless the reader uses those extra pins (which most don't) it will be dropped down to UHS-1 speeds.
Hmm, seems you're right. I thought all UHS-3 cards had the II marking, that they were essentially the same thing.you are thinking of UHS-3/2 which is marked as UHS-3 and below has a 2 the pro is UHS-3/1 thus does not carry the extra pins.
no they were done though menuhax using ctr boot. The tests were done on a 3DS with EmuNAND AND A9LH right? Because if it boots in 8s on an N3DS through MenuHax I need to switch my SD right away.
Seriously? On a N3DS? I boot in 26secs with that setup (MenuHax + CtrBoot) on a Sony 70MB/s SD card, wonder why that much difference.no they were done though menuhax using ctr boot.
Are you sure? I can say without a doubt in my mind that it was not Menuhax plus ctrboot. Just the 3ds booting could take 8 seconds. And I have a9lh and my boot to emuNAND is 12 seconds.no they were done though menuhax using ctr boot.

i started the timer as post menuhax already in ctr when hovering over the A button on emunandSeriously? On a N3DS? I boot in 26secs with that setup (MenuHax + CtrBoot) on a Sony 70MB/s SD card, wonder why that much difference.
You started the timer after you see the random colors from Menuhax? That's not really from a coldboot and just leads to misinformation and confusion.i started the timer as post menuhax already in ctr when hovering over the A button on emunand
never stated it was a coldboot i said booting into emunand. You started the timer after you see the random colors from Menuhax? That's not really from a coldboot and just leads to misinformation and confusion.
Even so, most associate "booting into emuNAND" with a cold boot, that is, from the time you press the power button to when you see the home menu pop up. Your call though. It's your thread so I'll respect that, but I recommend putting a little note stating when you actually started timing b/c like I previously said, it's misinformation. No Menuhax+ctrboot = 8 sec. boot.never stated it was a coldboot i said booting into emunand.
i considered using post menuhax boot emu from ctr as a base because of the fact it loads the nand from the sd rather then it just loading menuhax from the sd considering most nands are 1.2GB in size but i see where you are getting at i will revise the post as i do more testsEven so, most associate "booting into emuNAND" with a cold boot, that is, from the time you press the power button to when you see the home menu pop up.
