Hacking N3DS not waking after closing lid(ThemeHax+CFW)

Hi guys,

Facing a rather strange issue with my N3DS PAL on 9.0. Have a Gateway EmuNand and I successfully installed Cakes and later RX Tools with the HomeMenuHAX(or themeHax).

To correct the 3D issue I close the lid, but the even after opening the lid, the N3DS does not wake up. I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out with this.

You mean you close it while in the Homebrew Launcher, or in the HOME Menu? If you're closing it in the Homebrew Launcher or any Homebrew application launched through it, then you need to press the HOME button before closing your 3DS, or it won't wake up from sleep mode. I don't know how to resolve the issue if it's happening in the HOME menu or anywhere else, though.

The solution is obvious and simple. Don't close your lid.

EDIT: This is actually some oddball issue with the version of RxTools you're using. Update your RxTools and it should work. CakesFW isn't recommended with Themehax.

No I meant I close the lid in EmuNand. Which is launched via ThemeHax + RXTools or Cakes for that matter.

Is this a known issue? Actually closing the lid is necessary to fix the 3D and brightness problem.

As far as i'm concerned it's known. I know about it. CakesFW has some oddball bugs and a lower boot rate through themehax.

Alright guys. The issue is resolved now. I had a custom theme on my EmuNand. Changing it fixed the issue.

Hope this helps anyone else facing the same issue.
