Hacking N3ds freezes on closing software with Monster Hunter

Hi guys, I'm running 9.5 emunand on N3ds and I'm experiencing an annoying problem. Sometimes, after playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for a while, today it was an hour I think, my console freezes when I go back to the home menu and hit the X button. It sticks on "Closing Software", and also waiting for 5 minutes doesn't solve the situation. I have to press the power button to force the console to switch off. It happened two times up to now, the first one some months ago and the second one today. The first time I even lost 15 hours of gameplay, and I have been backing up my saves since then, so today I only lost 30 minutes. However it is still annoying and I fear it will happen more frequently. My micro SD is a Samsung 16gb class 4 one, quite old. Could it be its fault? How could I avoid to encounter this problem again?

Is your SD card in the 3DS full maybe?

My sd card is genuine since almost full and all my games are playable. I'm not using any cheats and I've downloaded the ROM from that famous iso site. I don't know how to verify it.
