Hardware N2Elite/Amiiqo Issues with Fire Emblem Fates?

Hopefully I got this in the right section. I'm trying to use the N2Elite/Amiiqo from a friend to scan in some of the Fire Emblem Amiibos to get the Amiibo content unlocked, but the game just tells me to confirm the object is an amiibo and try again.

Same friend has a Robin amiibo that scanned and worked fine. I'm trying to figure out of this is some sort of new AP against the N2Elite, or if I'm screwing something up somewhere. It works fine when I try Super Smash Bros, so the N3DS definitely detects it.

Has anyone managed to get it working with Fates? The only other thing I've found by googling is another person having the same problem, but no one saying they've got it working.

I did. Hence why I was wondering if anyone has gotten it working so I can check to see where I screwed up.

I *cough* buy me the USA Version and will test it later with my n2. Could you pm me the bin, i will test my and yours.
Since i not played fates yet, how long does it take to get to the point where you can use them?

After insert the Amiibo bin to my N2 and get to the amiibo point.
Nothing wrong with the dumb.

My Robin Bin worked also fine...
Does your Nintendo find the Amiibo under Settings -> Amiibo -> Amiibo Registration?
