Well, N+ comes out August 12th and I was doing some research on it while I anxiously await its release and I found out that while you can upload your own created levels and download created levels they'll be gone once you turn your DS off. So I was wondering if any of you 1337 h4xx0rs had any ideas of what could be done so we wont lose levels after turning of the DS. I know nothing is really known about the level format or anything, this is more just for brain storming until N+ comes out. So guys, any ideas?

Hopefully someone will, since that's kind of stupid that you have to upload them and download them again if you want to play the level after you shut the DS off. I'm going to be playing this a lot when it's released.

You could possibly edit the rom to use a larger save file and write the levels to the save. but that'd require alot of reprogramming which i dont think anyone would really bother with.

I thought a cheat can fix this because the downloaded levels are proably gonna be in the ds's ram.

    Bummer.

To tell you the honest truth, no one is going to be able to give you a definite answer until the game is out and we can see how it works. there will probably be a workaround but nothing is known right now.

Well, i'm in the same boat as a few other people here... i thought you had stumbled across an early dump. Almost pinched off a loaf, right here at my desk at work!

But i AM very excited that it'll be out in a couple of weeks! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!

As well, i agree w/ Edgedancer... we'll have to wait and see... unless theres an early leak, and someone with some brains, and decent sized testes decides to post the info up early, but thats doubtful :-\

I don't think (not know but THINK) anyone will make a hack for this: A lot of people have a SCDS1 or a CycloDS so the hack is pointless (just use Real Time Saves). And getting the levels from the ram (think not know) and put them back looks WAY too hard!

    Or a CycloDS.

^you miss the point that N has a very big user map level base (NUMA) and its very possible.

1st what do you mead by "very possible"? Can YOU do it? Or a long time super star programmer who was working for Nintendo and knows all the level 10 stuff.

So? I don't think you can import file from the PC game to the soon to be out N+.

Yea no one can give you an answer without the game unless someone has the game somehow and did it.

But the only ppl that have the game is the makers and the contest winners.

AND IM GOIN TO GET THIS GAME THE FIRST DAY IT COMES OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (AND GETS DUMPED!!!!)
