N-Card loader 1.33 beta

Supports automatic DLDI patching/write access

N-Card loader version 1.33 beta is out. This new version supports automatic DLDI patching and DLDI write access. Thanks to wilsey for the heads up.
Here's a rough web translation of the change log...

1 separates the U plate procedure and the NDS menu two documents.

2 U plate procedure on-line moves the NAND_ALL.BAT promotion with the traditional method.

3 menus procedures promotion changes directly puts the xmenu.dat document on FAT.

4 has rewritten the flash bad block administration module code, revised BUG.

5 menus alter to the 2D pattern, if wanted to use the original 3D menu to be allowed to revise in global.ini MENU3D=1

6 to rewrite has put on file the administration module the code

7 after already to delete the folder the archive, the direct preservation

8 supported in the root table of contents to DLDI automatically has the patch, supported reads in the pattern, specifically saw also global.ini

Whilst this card is first to have auto-DLDI patching, won't be long before all slot1/2 carts implement/copy this.

I'm really surprised by this. I'd been looking into making an application that patches NDS files on the DS itself (not that I would ever finish it) but I see they already made it...now to see how they do it and rip it out of there

1) I believe only 1 & 2 gig versions are out
2) Really? I didn't know that. I do like how DSOrganize can delete files off your card without loading it onto the computer each time.

Yes, they have them at sky2k.com. After shipping though, it will probably be about the same price as the 1 gigabyte model at dealextreme.com.

Nah, that's okay, I just wondered if it exists. Since it does, I can patch my cousins FireLink with it.

imgod22222: Unfortunately, it only patches on-the-fly. However, DSLinux' DLDItool is just the same as the windows CMD version.

Excellent! The save only writes once now - it used to do it every time you turned it on even when the save had already been backed up and you hadn't run anything else.

I am having one minor issue though - the first game I tested had no sound whatsoever (#0678 Slitherlink). Can someone else try out this particular game?

Edit: Sound doesn't seem to work for any game :/

It is coming.

Doesn't work as-is on a lot of cards, but the idea is still the same and seems to be the underlying purpose behind DLDI (manufacturers can add it to their menu instead of releasing proprietary info).

The Neo team said this is still in beta and that is why they haven't released it for the MK5. Could explain for the no sound.

Don't forget guys, this is still a beta and is intended for testers only. I'm sure they're aware there's no sound. Unless the developers are deaf.
