Wow! This is really great! And just yesterday I thought to myself: "Wouldn't it be great if we had some "Myst" style adventure games on DS?" Talk about great timing! [IMG]

[IMG] Was expecting this thread to be someone moaning about it not being on the DS. Not sure what to think of this, can't say I liked it when it was first release but then there were many games that bored me then and I enjoyed now so keeping an open mind.

I remember beating the PC version years ago. I used a hint guide in the end, but it was still cool. The extra environment should keep it fresh on the DS.

I've never played it before but it sounds pretty neat.

Wooo!! awesome news because now it's official. I want to see screens so badly!!! I think they should do a remake of Nights into Dreams for the DS. It would be similar to the Starfox DS game. I wish...they are making it for Wii, might as well...lol idk.

    Well, there's ScummVM...

So many great PC games on the DS... And just great games in general. I think the DS is now officially the best console ever made. [IMG]

God I love Myst! I've had a bit of trouble getting the PC version to run on my new comp so this will be just great!

On another note, for all the readers/booklovers out there, the Myst novels a surprisingly well written and extremely entertaining. They are vaguely fantastical, but more in the sense of desolate, sparsely-populated alternate worlds. I'm a bit of a literature snob and I generally don't like fantasy at all, let alone popular fiction style paperbacks, but the Myst books really surprised me!

Wow awesome, this is good news :]

I'm all for re-releases of good old titles.. Resident Evil was a good start.
Lets hope we'll see more of this..
Maybe a Monkey Island double pack? That would be so cool.

    Very nice!

I love old school adventure gaming and the wifey will love this one as well.

They can get damn hard in some places though!

Wasn't the "Rime Age" added in the remake of Myst for the PC and the Playstation 1 version?

Not that it matters, I didn't play either of those. It'll be fun to play Myst again. It's been probably just long enough that I've forgotten how to solve most of the puzzles.

I’m happy to here whenever a big name game is coming to the DS.
Even though this game put me to sleep on the PC, & I expect it will
do the same on the DS if not worse. At least the PC had the beautiful
pictures. But the more games the merrier. [IMG]

A bit cool, but i would prefer a "real" adventure game like Simon the Sorceror.

I was waiting for MYST for the Amiga and when it finally was released i didn't care much for it.. It was a bit to stiff.
