My TV was STOLEN

So, I just got a new Mac yesterday and I was out.
Some robbers broke in my house and took the TV. 50" Panasonic Plasma.
But, they had no interest in the Mac.
Anyway, this happened a few hours ago, so in the meantime, I brought a new TV.

The insurance company didn't cover me for this

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to have gotten the Police to look into it and then buy a TV rather than possibly double up on them if the culprit is found.

Robber 3: Look, he's trying to fool us. I know what's gonna happen. I've done that before. Me taking a Mac before then I found out it's just a PC inside a Mac shell. I was so gutted... Don't let it fool you.
Robber 1: But look at how the windows open and close.
Robber 3: You're getting fooled...let's just go!
Robber 2: *opens iTunes* He's got friggin' Megadeth in here. Oh look, Peace Sells!

Bad news man, although I think the mac would have been better if it was stolen, because if it did get stolen, you would have time to think: "Do I REALLY want another mac?"

Give or take the fact that you like macs of course.

Probably left the Mac and such, because carrying a 50" TV out can be hard work. By the time they got it out, people could have noticed, or something.

But I'm sorry for your loss. Sucks you lost such a nice TV, but be glad you got to keep your comp. Hope you get it back.
