Install Priiloader with block disc updates enabled.

I have Priiloader installed and under the settings menu there is no "block disc updates" option. I think it may just be options for Priiloader itself, but there are not other settings available.
It should be in the "System menu hacks" menu, not settings.
Do you have a hacks.ini on your SD card?

Error 1035 is because you did not successfully uninstall the stubs. Go back and do it again. If it doesn't work, try again. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to make it work. Be sure to uninstall all of 202/222/223/224/249/250 if you have them. Then reinstall the cIOS and it should install without errors.

I do, but when I go to install it through Priiloader it only shows BOOT.elf as an option.

Why not try and put Pimp My Wii to run from your HBC? Could that help with the cIOS's and stubs and all that?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
