Homebrew My sd card broke and I reformatted it and it wont boot the 3ds what should I do?

my 3ds's sd card quit working recently and I cant get it to work even after a reformat... what files do I need and what do I need to do.

Please don't make multiple post on the exact same topic, please. I deleted the other two duplicate threads as they had fewer responses (and godreborn has done a lot of work to help you out). But I hope you are able to find your answer!

You mean the card reader in your 3DS, or the card reader on your PC? Because if the card reader in your 3DS is broken, you're pretty screwed.

But how can you be sure your card reader is broken if you don't have another SD card to test?

ive seen some where a mac format didnt work. yet a windows format did. Are you formatting the card the same way each time? Or trying different routes with it?
