Homebrew My sd card broke and I reformatted it and it wont boot the 3ds what should I do?

my 3ds's sd card quit working recently and I cant get it to work even after a reformat... what files do I need and what do I need to do.

Put boot.firm and boot.3dsx on the root of the card.

Is the card formatted to fat32?

I dont know ill try that but the card might be corrupt

my card reader is probably broken

You didn't put Luma on the ctrnand, so I don't know of any way to fix this other than fixing or replacing the card reader.

You mean the card reader in your 3DS, or the card reader on your PC? Because if the card reader in your 3DS is broken, you're pretty screwed.

But how can you be sure your card reader is broken if you don't have another SD card to test?

ive seen some where a mac format didnt work. yet a windows format did. Are you formatting the card the same way each time? Or trying different routes with it?

I just need a new sd reader... I got it to work... now to find all my games.. ugh
