Nice list, I pay very little attention to pokemon games/hacking which means I can rarely answer questions on it.

Linked to this thread in the rom hacking docs (and will probably be there when I finish up the "final" version in a day or two).

The signup process for your forum is demonic. Firstly the "I'm over 10 checkbox didn't register, then my password was only 7 characters, then I pasted my username onto the end of my password and apparently I can't have a my username in my password, then I realise I transposed the O and E in the name so I logout and want to re-register. I can't as my email account is already used up.

So now I try to re-login and my PW doesn't work (I remembered it with Firefox) so I use the password reset and its taking a billion years for the email to rock up.

Seriously if I want to have a crummy 7-letter password and risk my account getting compromised why not let me?

lols.. that's the first time someone mentions all that.. XD
Normally people don't complain if there passwords need to be x characters long.
Also, most people don't use their username in their password - -'
And yes.. free hosts suck, and freehostia doesn't support sendmail, so.. you'll never get an email XD

Have fun with the tools though

That looks really good...

I wouldn't worry about pokésav, because that does different things...

What yours does is alter where you find pokémon (in all sorts of various places) whereas pokésav changes what pokémon you already have (and in great detail).

Also, does it edit the .nds or the .sav (pokésav edits the .sav) because I would guess that this data is kept in the ROM itself.

These tools edit the NDS, I mean that the only possible way you can change what the tools are changing without codes.

Well the only reason I was complaining i if I can't login, recover my password or register that I can't get the tools =(

While I know the value of good security and so forth, IMO having your password be phrase-username-username is much more secure than just the phrase. I just find it a little silly that it cares about my security so much. If my account gets stolen I can only blame myself.

That's very nice an' cool. Now we only need a Diamond/Pearl Map Editor to hack this ROM completely

But I miss the Starter-PokemonEditor öÖ

Heh.. yeah.. I kinda didn't put that one online for now
rolleyes.gif

If you want I can put it online tomorrow.. But note: it still only edits the images in the suitcase for Japanese ROMs
But, now I have the no$GBA debugger, I may found how to edit the sprites for the other games too..

What do you mean by 'switch the Pokémon' ?
The starter Pokémon, or the Wild Pokémon?
Anyway.. all my DS tools work on all versions.. so, yes, it's possible to switch Pokémon in the German Version
