Got my R4i Gold Plus all set up in about 5 minutes. (It was surprisingly simple, unlike almost every other "softmod" I've done.. If you can consider this a softmod.

Anyways, I dropped my FFIII rom onto the micro SD card, booted and played fine, etc etc. However I would like to use my save from my ACTUAL FFIII DS cart because I was towards the end and about 40~ hours have been invested into this save.

    Here's my question:

Is there any way to transfer the save from the FFIII Cart onto the micro SD card so I can use it with my R4i? Or am I just SOL?

    Thanks for your replies

    Oh, and if it helps/matters at all, I'm running a v3.0.0-6U 3DS.

SOL with that. You need to do a cart swap or use a slot-2, and you can't do that on a DSi or 3DS. Only DS/Lite.

OR you could buy an NDS Save Adapter or an R4i Save Dongle.

That's too bad. However, my R4i came with a R4i gold writer dongle.

    See it here:

Would I possibly be able to dump the rom through this?

Sorry about asking these questions when I could easily just test it out myself, but I'm running a high fever from my ESI injection yesterday and don't feel up to going through all the trial-and-error. Thanks again

No, but as kthnxshwn said buy a R4i Save Dongle and it will work perfect for your needs.
