Hacking My R4 just came but I'm having problems...

Okay, I bought this card - http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.19236 And I also bought a 4GB Kingston MicroSD card. I did everything that I was supposed to do but everytime I turn my DS Lite on, it gets stuck on the Loading screen. What's wrong with??? What can I do?

Also, my MicroSD card came with an 'Adapter'. What's that for??

You're probably running the wrong firmware.

Go to the website that's stated on the box of the R4, and get the firmware from there. There are so many fake R4s, and because of this there are many different firmwares.

Also, wrong section.

If it's a real R4 it won't work with SDHC cards (sd cards over 2GB)

only a normal 1/2/4 gb non sdhc card will work on it

@Naruto: Nope, the real R4 cards does NOT support SDHC, most of the clones seems to do though. (but i would probably buy a known card instead if a were you and wanted SDHC support). You can of course buy a microsd card which isn't SDHC though, that should work.

Try them all, one at a time, until you find one that works. If none of them do then start crying and RESEARCH the next flashcard you intend to buy before parting with your money.

Look at your DS card itself, Does is say R4 III Upgrade? If not, what does it say? IGNORE THE DAMNED BOX. They reuse boxes. Yes dick like i know.

Make sure to have these 3 main files in the root of sd
_system_
_DS_MENU (dat)
_DS_MENU (config)
I have a clone sdhc and running firmware v1.21, works 100% and works with latest games (gta, poke pltnum, blue drag, etc.)

Um, well the card just says, 'R4 Revolution for DS'. I tried what you suggested, but to no luck. It STILL gets stuck on the Loading screen. I'm so frustrated right now...at least I know that it DOES work, since you said you bought the same one, right? Arrgh!!! What am I doing wrong!?
