Hello tempers..
Well, another holiday, more bad news. Those of you who keep up with me know about my wife leaving me this past Halloween, and some of you know the Halloween before that, my Mom died. Here it is Easter, another holiday that signifies transformation, and here I am writing about yet another life altering event.

You guys and gals have been real nice to me and understanding and all that, and you all know I appreciate it muchly. So I'll let you in on what's happening, even though as usual, there's gonna be a few people here that think it's inappropriate. So it goes...

Well, I just got back from the hospital, my dad was working on his farm today and had a heart attack, he was too far gone to save by the time someone found him, but the doctors did try really hard.

He died. I'm sad.

I'm just writing this to let you know my spirits are gonna be a little low for the next little while. I'll still be around, and I've been through enough to know that I need to fan my spark anyway I can, so I'll still be joking around when I can summon it. I'm not really asking for anything. I just wanted to let you all know since I consider many of you friends.

I know this might be considered inappropriate as I'm not really part of the 'inner circle' as it were, but I read a lot, and I know you're a thoroughly nice guy, so I really want to express my condolences and pass on my best wishes to you. Thanks guys... yeah my dad was a bit of an odd bird, and while we didn't have an enormous amount in common, the sense of humor and irreverence certainly made it's way down the pike to me. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers and way too kind words.

.. and I deem Bowser128 to officially be in the inner circle, even though I thought he was already. Good humans are pretty much in automatically.

Now I'm gonna go listen to a physics lecture I got from a podcast and hope like hell my brain gives up and goes to sleep.
