My Nintendo Dsi XL wont update Unlaunch past v0.8

    I cant upgrade unlaunch past v0.8 and I've tried v0.9 and v1.3 but when I select update now it looks like it does but when I boot to check it it still says v0.8 anyone know a fix to this yet?

    Try installing 1.4 and hold the UP arrow key when it boots up... If you see colors you are on 1.4.. And if not then something is wrong.. I might be able to help if it fails, but try what I said above first...

    I don't see colors but I did downgrade to v1.4 before installing cfw

    1.4 Unlaunch version it is the latest release..

    I wonder if its because of the way I installed unlaunch because I used the old guide that made you overwrite the nand and I didnt see that in the new one so is there a way to undo that idk If I still have the backup

    Weird... You might have to uninstall Unlaunch or manually install it... I don't know how you are going to uninstall it, but FWTool could do it. I did make a tool called Unlaunch Saver but it hasn't been tested sadly. If you have a NAND backup, could you say the exact file size of it?

    I think I found my backup it was on my desktop's usb backup in case my laptop failed(it did) and patched is 245,761 and clean is 245,760

    The clean one can be restored, but it could brick for an unknown reason. It hasn't bricked for me, and shouldn't for you. Good luck if you restore it!

    Thanks one thing I noticed it also has a CID.bin in there to does that need to be installed

    You don't need that to restore your NAND.

    It wont work when I goto restore nand_dsi.bin it fails on creating it

    Do i have to somehow combine the cid & clean nand

    I feel like such an idiot I found out what I did wrong and was able to reflash the stock nand and install unlaunch v1.4 thanks for helping me
