    This will probably sound fake and maybe most of you guys think this is a hoax but I can ensure you it's real,

    Last night I was out in the city and a friend rushes to me, he began talking to me a tone that was really weird, an emotional tone. And that friend never was emotional, he was always the tough one. So I new something was wrong. He said:

    '''Have you heard what happend? So I respond; no? He said Thijs has been murderd on the trainstation by a guy with an axe...''

    I was looking at him with disbelieve. I heard earlier that night that someone was murderd brutaly by an axe at the trainstation in Roosendaal a city 15 min from my hometown. I didn't expect it to be somebody I new! Thijs ''was'' my neighbour he was 21 years old and he was murderd Saterday evening by a homeless person with an axe while he was waiting for the train with some fries in his hands. This sounds so unreal and still I just can't believe it!

    He left 2 brothers and his parants behind! His father was a wel known sportinstructer at my old highschool he even teached me! The weirdest thing is I helpt him yesterday at my work, he was there with his mother.

    Strange world.. How can somebody do that? The police still hasn't found a link between him and the homeless murderer..

    It's in the media if you don't belelieve me;

    That doesn't make any sense to me. If you want money well, you threaten them, you don't need to kill someone to get their wallet. That's just sick man, I'm so sorry..

    I was listening to Phoenix Wright music when I entered this thread. What if the murder was planned? I mean, a fuckin axe in the middle of a trainstation??

    someone could have paid the homeless guy off. what's he got to loose? if he's caught, he gets to stay in jail for the rest of his life. if he gets away, he has the money. did they catch the guy?

    Yet again an update: His motive is clear now.. believe it or not he said that he did it to make a statement against the war in Iraq. His plan A was to kill soldiers from the Dutch army. But he failed. So he went to the trainstation to kill an employee of the state.. when that failed to he just went off to kill someone random which came to be Thijs Geers my neighbour [IMG] He had planned it.. His familly commented that he was a troubled man... it even gets worse the police had gotten tips that there was an aggressive man at the trainstation. The police was there at a 7:45 and Thijs was murderd 7:30..

    I wonder is it possible that he get's his trial in america? So that he can at least get DEATHROW! In the netherlands he will get like 12 years with special treatment and thats it.. so please let him have his trial in America!

    Even snel in het Nederlands posten.

    Wow, dat is echt vet vreemd. Heb gehoord dat het een random doorgeslagen Amerikaan was die de daad heeft begaan. Echt belachelijk dat dat soort mensen rondlopen. Sterkte ermee!

    Ja, ook namens mij sterkte! Hopelijk kun je het snel achter je laten. Maar het is wel verdomde klote dat het je buurman betrof... Je loopt toch steeds langs dat huis en zo.

    *sorry for also posting in dutch but it feels a bit more personal in this case*
