Hi, I just got an M3 Lite Perfect Mini SD Version for Christmas, got really excited. The next day I bought a Mini SD card. I put the updagcsd.e35 file in the root directory of the card, put the card in the adapter, put the adapter in my GBA and started it. The Game Boy title and theme came up but nothing more, I waited for more than a minute and nothing happened! Did I install it wrong or did I put it in a wrong way or is my adapter just broken?

Curious how my eMMC issues have anything to do with an SD Card Flex being "damaged"

@SirAkivar What Hayato213 said is right, he is very wise and I would take his word on it.

We use the word wise lightly around here
  • SirAkivar @ SirAkivar:
@BigOnYa seems fair. Just confused as my switch kinda 'bricked out' yesterday.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Its not the emmc but the SD card reader itself.
  • SirAkivar @ SirAkivar:
never did any modding or anything before and now it's to the internet for solutions.
  • SirAkivar @ SirAkivar:
So how "easy" of a fix is that?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Only other option is maybe your SD card has failed. Maybe try another SD card and see if does the same, if so then you know it mechanical issue.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Recheck your soldering could have a loose connection use your phones zoom in camera
  • SirAkivar @ SirAkivar:
@BigOnYa I was able to pull all the data off my SD card onto my computer.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    No soldering used ken
  • SirAkivar @ SirAkivar:
it took 2 hours to transfer like 30gb of stuff tho
  • SirAkivar @ SirAkivar:
every picture and video seems good,
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Try a dif SD card in the Switch, if still problematic, then its the switch, not a SD card.
