Hacking my lite won't turn on after i removed the battery

when i removed the battery on my lite a few days ago and now it won't turn on anymore for some reason and it won't charg. all that happens when i plug in the charger is that the charger light flashes orange and it won't turn on even when the charger is plugd in either and yes my lite is flashed but it doesn't act like it's brickd since in this case it wont even turn on but anyway does anybody know what could be wrong and maybe a way to fix it?

try cleaning the contact points on the battery and the system, maybe they were smudged when you removed it.

Did any of the connectors bend or get dirty?

Thats my biggest guess.

That, plugging it in THEN putting the battery in then power on.

You might have inadvertently shorted something while removing or replacing the battery, in which case you've killed either the battery or the DS (or even both.. :'( ).

Yeah... Is it possible you test your battery in another DS and test your DS with another battery?

Don't forget if you do find someone to do a battery swap test with, the DS Lite has a different battery to the regular DS.

yeah i know that because my first idea was to test my old phat ds's battery oh and about that shorted battery thing its defnitley not the problem because i checked that it still gives electricity so the prob is most likely that something in the ds is shorted
