    Hi,
Before when I was using FATsort, sort time was about 1423ms but these days, its about 5313ms !
i tried removing files, MPutility and put back data, still same results.
    any idea?

format the cart and test agian. Then you can tell whether it's ur G6 or FATsort etc causing the difference.

sorry, i didn't realise MPutility was a formatting tool, i assumed it was some other kind of repair tool.

anyways relative to the discussion, I recommend using the nds homebrew called "MCtool" over Fatsort.

It was taking about 5000+ ms to sort my microSD card, then I reformatted it and copied the files back to the card. I just now ran FATsort for the first time since then, and it took a bit less that 850ms to sort.

If you only tried MPutility, try an actual format with Windows.

thnx bot, but [!] ur microSD is FAT32 but my G6 is fat16, i think thats where problem resides, as said earlier, i tried formatting my card and putting back data but i get same number.

My microSD card is formatted as FAT. FATsort doesn't support FAT32.
