None the less, some of the early ones would and some would not, more modern ones do though it seems.
I am not sure if they ever fixed the sleep mode fault (you can do it by bridging two connectors though) so I would consider another nopass such as EZFlash's own as it is sure to work.
If buying it as one order ask the sales people to try it, they will usually happily do something as simple as this if it means a sale.

If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction -

You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
