Well, a few months ago, we were all celebrating new years. Everyone was happy, throwing cushions about, etc.
BUT THEN... A cushion hits the coca-cola, and the coca-cola hits my black DSi.

So today, after previous hopeless efforts cleaning and drying and testing, it works! A few minor glitches at first, but after they're sorted, it's perfect! Working fine [IMG]

Then I think it would look cool to have a half-black half-white DSi...
I take the bottom of my brother's DSi off, and swap it with mine. And they're both working fine!
At home, we decide to swap buttons too. We complete the task, but the originally white, fully working DSi gets fuzzy horizontal lines all over the screens.
Brother checks connections, I double check, and now...

It will not turn on, and if it is plugged in, the charge light just flashes.
The previously non-working DSi, now works perfectly.

    TL;DR
Black DSi broke, swapped cases, Black DSi works, white DSi flashes LED when plugged in.
I'm sure I haven't got them mixed up.

Please help me... I dunno how to replace a fuse....

i believe if you have a warranty, it usually costs less (maybe even free) but since you opened up your DSi already (and the 2 halves now have different colors, making it kinda obvious) i daresay your warranty is out of the question. anyway, the price will prob be depending on what is messed up. since you prob aren't sure what is wrong, this price will vary, but hopefully it won't reach $100.

Well, my bro spilt the cola on mine in the first place, so I inherited his DSi, and thus owned a broken one and a working one.
When I got them both working, I gave his back. Then his died...

    Karma at it's best [IMG]

Just realised that toiletds is my brother... I really should read usernames [IMG]

Just wait for the 3DS to appear. It will devour both your DSi's.
