Updating Firmware..

The DS doesn't HAVE updatable firmware..Unless you mean FlashMe? You didn't turn it off while it was busy or anything I hope?

PS: Your spelling, grammar and punctuation is a disgrace to all dutch people >_>

PS2: If your flashing procedure shut down prematurely, you've been left with a half-written FlashMe.
If you're LUCKY, you can use the Recovery Mode to still be able to continue flashing(If it went over ~5%)
If not, you now have a nice paperweight, congratulations.

- Check if the battery is making contact
- You're sure it worked before you screwed the battery cap thingy.. back in?
- Why did you even USE FlashMe? You have no reason to do it anymore nowadays. (A year ago it'd be normal, but now its uncommon)
- Its weird for a fuse to blow this way.
- Did you leave a piece of metal near the SL-1 hole?

PS:
- The legal age for beer is 16, you don't sound like a 16 year old =P.
- Your body is worth more than 6100 dollars, even with this absurb euro/dollar exchange.
- The human body uses up about 100 Watts

PPS:
- Why am I using these little marks to sum up my statements?...

Must be a blown fuse then, Look for the F1 Fuse next to the slot-1 cart input (on the right) on the main board. Test this one with a multimeter, and if required, bridge it with some solder.

Wait..you dont have a tri wing but you can see the main board?

http://www.m3wiki.com/images/f/f5/Usgcpux3fuses.jpg

Check both fuses, low resistance is good, But if its in the ten-thousands, it's bad. (Blown fuse)

You do know how to solder I hope. (If you can't even operate a multimeter, please, do not attempt to solder for your stupidity will burn a hole in it..) (No Tape doesn't work)(No, glue doesn't either)(No a carbon pencil doesn't work either to my dismay)

also gonna install twilight menu in my r4 flashcard

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
