Hacking My backups half work

Hello there, recently I have been trying to play some backups on my wii. Problem is that it only half works. When I launch the game using the configurable usb loader the screen flickers like crazy but I can make out what is the main menu of mario kart wii (the game I'm trying to play) also it is in black and white though the sound works perfectly. I have kept everything at default settings. Also the only thing i did to the iso is use wii brick blocker and region frii on the iso. I am using a sandisk cruzer micro 8gb which according to the wiki works just fine. Also I am using firmware version 3.4u if that helps at all. If you need any other information to help me out please ask. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and help me out

The game is PAL, right? Go into the settings and force video mode NTSC.
