I have the 4.08 AK2 firmware, and a PQI 4GB class 6 Micro SDHC card. I play through the intro, and then once I get the chance, I go to save and it just sits on the "now saving" message forever, looking the saving music. I once let it sit for over half an hour, and nothing.
Pretty much. Just delete the ak4menu.nds currently on your MicroSD and also delete the _ak2 folder.
Then download this:

Extract it. Put the new ak4menu.nds in the SD and also the _aio folder. (Make sure it's in the root).
Test it out.

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
