Thats weird because when i ran a homebrew applacation it said i needed to update

you could make a NAND backup then update?

you need GM9 and cfw to do that

You won't lose homebrew. Ninjhax is also easy to update/reinstall if needed since it's just done with the QR code feature without having to rely on PowerSaves to install the hacked save without homebrew or anything like that.
