Hacking My 3ds automatically had system update now my cfw is not running

yep, what i said in the title. My downloaded games stopped working and my cfw. I dont have a clue on what to do since I had someone else do the cfw hacking for me. I currently have 11.6 on my 3ds system. please help. thank you

Do you know what cfw you have on your console? If its luma3ds or one like that then cfw wont just not work anymore.

yep, it's luma. cant i do anything abkut it? like uninstall and install a new cfw?

Luma3ds is the go to cfw. It should easily withstand any update that is done to the console. And automatic updates to the 3ds are not ever a thing. It does require someone to accept that they are going to update the console. There are a few prompts before it happens. Hmmm. Are you able to provide a screen of your 3ds SD card to see whats going on?

Luma3ds is the go to cfw. It should easily withstand any update that is done to the console. And automatic updates to the 3ds are not ever a thing. It does require someone to accept that they are going to update the console. There are a few prompts before it happens. Hmmm. Are you able to provide a screen of your 3ds SD card to see whats going on?

i dont remember any prompts when my firmware updated. it just happened when i closed the freeshop then i saw my firmware got updated from 11.5 to 11.6. i dont know if this is a dumb question but could it be possible that when i updated a game in my freeshop it also updated the firmware? my sd card is working fine. all of my freeshop games stopped working except the ds games and the ones that are legit from eshop

Hmm? if your cfw is luma, then updates shouldn't affect your overall gameplay, as i (think) its blocks any system changes that would prevent it from starting first. (but that's speaking for myself) now here's my dumb question: is Luma the only cfw you have on your 3ds? also, did you have an emunand?

could it also be possible that my cfw stopped working because i did not update to a latest version? i am not particularly sure if it was up to date when it was working but i did not bother to check if they released an update
