Just in case you are online enough time while in sysnand (as you did when you tried to access eshop) take this into account:
- It will autodownload the sysnand system update, but it will not update automatically.
- It will annoy you every time you boot asking if you agree to apply the downloaded update (obviously you SHOULD NOT).
- You can remove the annoying update nag entering recovery mode, and turning it off without updating.

Alright I will make sure not to update, and do what you said. Thanks a lot. :P

Yes tell them you sold it and want to link your NNID to the new console.
When I call them is it okay if I'm in emunand while they are checking out my device? Or are they not even looking into it?

I don't think they will, they just need the old and new serial number, your NNID, and possibly some personal info related to your NNID.

Call just ended they said that it will take some dayzzz for the games to transfer 100% Successsssss. I'm so glad I took a picture of my serial number. Woohoo.

you should apply a theme to emunand so you know just from looking at your menu for a fact that its emunand
I applied a theme on the emunand, and now when I restart my 3ds and hold left bumper it doesn't boot into emunand. :/ even after changing it...I think it broke themehax.

You are supposed to unlink your NANDs when you use menuhax. Otherwise stuff will break. If you update your emuNAND then it'll black screen because menuhax is trying to load on emuNAND but the firmware version is different from the one it was installed for. Also when your NANDs are linked and you change your theme it'll change on sysNAND too, which removes menuhax.
You should format your sysNAND with the SD card out then you won't have that issue anymore.

it did i did not realize you were using themehax with linked nands the quote advised you unlink before you update emunand as some users report sysnand still being updated

My bad... so in future updates I will make sure to do that . Should I reformat sysnand now or in the future? And will reformating delete everything?

Unlink your NANDS first by formatting the 3DS WITHOUT the memory card, so it doesn't delete anything.

Then change the team back to default.

Go back to the homebrew menu and reinstall Menuhax.

lol also in that guide
How to unlink nands:
1. In sysnand, go to System Settings -> Other Settings -> Format System (Do not accept yet)
2. Eject your Sd card (don't worry, it is safe)
3. Accept to Format your 3DS/2DS (let it connect to the internet if it asks, it will not update your system)
4. After it reboots, go through the setup screen and set everything up
5. Once in the home menu, insert back your sd card and let it create some files on your sd card.
6. Your nands are now unlinked, and there are 2 ID folders in your Nintendo 3DS folder on your SD card (one for emunand, another for sysnand)

How it will look on your SD card:
jI44.png

The folder with the smallest size belongs to your sysnand, since you just formatted it. Grab the database zip again and put the title.db and import.db in YourSysnandFolder/RandomNumbersAndLettersFolder/dbs, just like you did in Step 1: Line 1 & 2! Don't forget to go to Data Management in Sysnand to let the 3DS "repair" your software management information!

Hello, I am in a similar situation to OP with a 2DS on 6.0.0-12U. I followed the video tutorial found in the rxTools liked by Adeka. So far I have followed every step in the video and have successfully created the emunand, unlinked the sysnand and emunand, installed rxTools, installed FBI installer, and have install several .cias. The issue that I'm having is that whenever I try to launch an installed game it either hangs at the black and red 3ds loading screen or the screen freezes black with the menu music playing. The farthest I got was with the OOT3D, which I was able to make it past the main menu before it crashed.

So far I have tried to reformat the 64GB SDXC card again with FAT32 and tried the entire process with the 4GB card that was included with the system. Both attempts resulted in the same freezing issue. I have searched google and this forum, but have been unable to find any solutions. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what the issue may be? Thank you for your help.

. . . i know your sd cards size can cause issues if you look around temps downloads section you can find the tool to properly format it but you said it wont work with the 4gb that came on it weird . . . i have the same setup except i use rxtools 9-28 build from this link RxTools Nightlies by @WhoAmI? just delete your rxtools folder and if on root rxtools.dat and firmware.bin (old) give it a try and remember to create a new firmware.bin and put it in dir: sd/rxTools/sys

Install rxTools and update your emuNAND. No need for eShop spoofing.
Alright so I bought a n3ds xl could I ask Nintendo to transfer my stuff again? Also would it be okay because I know that 10.3 rxtools emunand doesn't currently work. Could I just eshop spoof?
