Hey y'all just thought I'd give my impressions on this game so far.
If you get a good host its a lot of fun. But if you get a bad host its terrible. I've aimed down sights and put my red dot on a guys chest and fired half a clip and hit nothing, and then the guy realizes I'm there and shoots me like twice and I die instantly. Enough to make someone rage and break something when that happens like 5 times in a row. I haven't had many bad hosts lately and finally have begun to enjoy myself.
The new Specialist Point streak is amazing, since I unlocked it I've pretty much used it only. I find that I have pretty much no reason to use an assault rifle in this game though. All the maps are pretty small and there is lots of cars and other things to hide behind that can allow you to move up into range with an smg. Combine that with rapid fire and a silencer or extended mags with the specialist point streak and your pretty beastly. The shotguns are pretty good for this reason as well if they float your boat, I prefer the smgs though. The extra customizabilty of the weapons its great, as is the new killstreaks.
Overall once you get used to the game is pretty decent (if you get a good host) and is very refreshing. I'll probably pick it up for PS3 once I get mine fixed.
