Music Project?

I have a music project where I'm supposed to research a composer/musician/music artist. Sadly, I'm out of ideas. I can't think of a composer/musician/music artist. Any recommendations on who I should pick?

Frank Zappa. He's the first person that comes to mind as being a composer, a musician and a music artist.
