Music from other ipod

    My sibling has their friends ipod. Can he take the songs from his friends ipod and have the songs for his itunes? The easier the better. I would prefer a quick solution since I most likely have to do this.

    If there's a third party software maybe.
    But iPods get registered to certain copies of iTunes and have to be wiped clean to connect to other copies of iTunes.. right?

    Multiple programs do this. Search google for 'iPod ripper' and take your pick.

    I have this application called SharePod on my iPod. You don't have to install it and you can just keep it on your iPod. It can copy all your music and stuff onto a computer.

    Yep. If you're not using your own Itunes, it'll delete everything on it. Another flaw of Itunes.

    That's why you use a third party software on it.

    Thanks guys I decided to go with sharepod. It works great nad I might download this for myself as well.
