Muramasa Rebirth PS Vita Hd textures project

I'm personally playing on my oled deck and it's been an amazing experience, reminds me of when I had the OG vita but bigger and able to enjoy the artwork more.

That rules. Sadly I have an LCD deck. Honestly never owned anything OLED I can remember even. Only ever had a Vita 2000 but always keeping an eye out for a good priced 1000 in good condition. Made a Vitadock+ and fixed my PS4 controller so i've been having fun revisiting the Vita (which I restored from a brick last year, after it had been bricked since maybe 2019).

I'll have to set Muramasa up on my deck once my internet stops acting up. I wanna try this texture pack out so bad

They look amazing, I play on the go and on my TV and the textures look so crisp and clean like this was how the game was supposed to be played. I had a lot of fun replaying the game and just having a clean ui alone was worth it since some of the text is really blurry and bad on the original and it looks really bad on a tv.

So this is the finished project with the help of a user Xibalva we managed to finish this project ,xibalva helped me so much ,that this became our project at the end not just mine

You absolute LEGENDS! I bought this game ages ago on the Vita and played it like crazy! To be able to replay it on PC, in 4K, with these textures is like the PC port we never got. Just wanted to say huge thanks!

Everything should've been unlocked and upscaled so this is the definitive version.

Fair enough! I've just been finding a few misaligned textures and black lines and wasn't sure if it was an issue on my end or not. Also wondering if it was worth posting them here

The black lines and miss alignment of the textures are caused by the upscaling of the textures, the game retrieves the textures in small blocks and puts them together to make a character or assest, since the textures are bigger and cleaned up a bit they no longer are the "correct" size and you see the seams where the different parts connect. Lowering the resolution fixes the seams but gives us smaller blurrier textures taking us back to square one when they look blurry and bad.

The other two games have similar issues but handle the seams better and look like HD remakes.

Hey congratulations for finishing your project, great work. My only nitpick are okoi's human form eyes. As you know she is supposed to be a cat and her pupils in human form are round in one eye and horizontal in the other (?) instead of vertical. Guess it was too low res originally and the ai struggled with it. Also in her crouching stance there is a weird line connecting her eyebrow to the eye that makes her face looks like it's cracking.
Would be amazing if you could fix that.
