i have a little problem with my r4.
a few moments ago i tried to play cooking mama 2 with my brother but it wont work.
we are both in the multiplayer mode where it says "waiting for other players", but nothing happens.
the odd thing is that e.g. contra4 works like a charm?
anybody got a clue whats going on here?

All my multiplayer games work fine here. Cooking Mama FTW. [IMG]

Maybe one of you guys are using a commercial cart and the other a ROM. It may make a difference, but it really shouldn't.

Nah, I've done multi-card using my R4 and a commercial cart before, worked like a charm.

Okay then, maybe just Cooking Mama's multiplayer is weird. I'll try it out and see if mine does that too.

Also be sure you're using the latest firmware.

Cooking Mama 2 multiplayer only works when one person is using Download Play (tried this just then). Whether this is intentional or not, I do not know (my guess is that it is).

Just make sure you find out if it's multi card or download play before you say it doesn't work :]

Of if you trim your roms, you could of used a shitty rom trimmer which might of damaged your rom. Use TokyoTrim found in the R4 section. It owns the other day i played 8 player Mario Kart and i was the host, no problems.

Yeah, I just found that out. Wonder why DS - DS won't work. [IMG] Maybe the ROM got screwed up, and they released it without knowing.

Judging from what I've read in this thread, the answer is no.
